Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro is investigating claims that organic milk being sold at Costco, Safeway and Wild Oats isn't organic. According to recent investigations the milk supply company these three chains purchase milk from is in violation of 14 USDA regulations and its milk does not fall within compliance of USDA requirements for organic foods.

Costco stocks organic milk in its stores under the Kirkland Signature brand, Safeway sells it under the "O"-label and Wild Oats sells its milk labeled 'Organic - USDA.' All three retailers sell the product at a higher price that non-organic milk.
