Ex-UBS Exec Acquitted by Jury in IRS Probe

These cases are not easy for prosecutors. Kudos to those officials willing to take a case with challenges to a jury. Companies do not commit tax fraud, people do. When acting on behalf of a corporation in the commission of fraud, both the company and the persons involved need to be held accountable. A reminder of the importance of courageous whistleblowers willing to come forward to report on financial fraud, including tax fraud, as soon as it develops.
