Agreement Mandates Reforms To Prevent Sexual, Racial Misconduct at USC
USC will institute campus-wide reforms to prevent and report sexual and racial misconduct under terms of a settlement agreement filed Tuesday resolving claims related to former campus gynecologist Dr. George Tyndall.
The agreement will also require USC to “recognize all of Tyndall’s patients through a $125 million fund that gives every survivor a choice in how to participate,” according to a university statement. read more »

Church names 63 New Jersey clerics accused of sexual abuse
The Archdiocese of Newark released a list Wednesday of 63 Roman Catholic clergy members it said have been credibly accused of sexually abusing minors dating to 1940.
Cardinal Joseph Tobin, the archbishop, said in a statement that he hoped the disclosure "will help bring healing to those whose lives have been so deeply violated." read more »
