Boeing and Hagens Berman announced a proposed settlement to the shareholder suit filed in November 1997 by Hagens Berman. The settlement, second largest awarded in the Northwest, would affect tens of thousands of shareholders who purchased or otherwise acquired Boeing common stock between July 21, 1997, and Oct. 22, 1997 are affected by the settlement. The court is expected to review the proposed settlement in 2002.
