Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro Investigations
Hyundai XG300 and XG350
Date Started: June 26, 2009
Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro is investigating claims of sub-frame defects in Hyundai Motor (005380:KS) vehicles, models XG300. The firm is investigating claims that the sub-frame lacks corrosion protection, which can lead to premature decay.
The sub-frame sits under the engine between the front wheels, serves as the sole steering support for the vehicles and anchors front suspension. HBSS is looking into claims that Hyundai knew of the problem and failed to properly warn customers of potential problems or dangers with corrosion.
Reports indicate cars with sub-frame corrosion may experience high levels of sub-frame deterioration, steering control arm separation and steering loss, which can lead to accidents.
If you own a XG300 or XG350 manufactured between 2001 and 2004, you can contact HBSS to discuss your options. Owners can e-mail rob@hbsslaw.com, join this investigation, or call (602) 840-5900.
