Andrew St. John is an associate at Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro's Phoenix office where he has worked since 2004. Mr. St. John's practice is varied and includes civil litigation involving contract disputes, class actions, catastrophic injuries, pharmaceutical mass torts, wrongful death, personal injury actions, the payment of subrogation claims, appellate work, and pro-bono cases.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. St. John is actively involved in some of the firm's philanthropy projects including Project 2080 and Project Green HBSS. Mr. St. John serves as the director of Project 2080, which encourages firm staff and attorneys to volunteer at a charitable organization of their choice in lieu of time and effort normally expended at the firm. Mr. St. John also acts as co-director of Project Green HBSS, a project that helps HBSS evaluate and lessen its carbon footprint and negative impact on the environment. Through this program, HBSS has already decreased its paper and energy usage significantly and increased its recycling and use of recycled products.

During his undergraduate education, Mr. St. John interned at the Governor's office during the 1998 regular and emergency legislative sessions. Mr. St. John was awarded a commendation by Governor Hull for his dedication and tireless service.

Mr. St. John earned his juris doctorate at the Sandra Day O'Connor School of Law, with high pro bono Distinction. Rosenblatt and the Arizona Supreme Court Staff Attorney's Office, and worked as a student attorney at the College's Civil Practice Clinic.

Prior to, and during, his education Mr. St. John was proud to serve in both an armored battalion and cavalry unit in the United States military where among other things, he was the gunner on an M1A1 Abrams main battle tank. Mr. St. John was commended for his service and ultimately achieved the rank of sergeant before being honorably discharged.
