Kristen Johnson Parker is an associate at Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro where she has worked since 2007. Ms. Parker focuses on complex class action litigation against pharmaceutical manufacturers for consumer fraud, RICO, and antitrust violations. Recently, Ms. Parker was a member of the trial team responsible for the $142 million civil RICO jury verdict against Pfizer for unlawfully marketing the drug Neurontin. Ms. Parker contributed to the certification of a nationwide RICO class of third party payors in the Zyprexa marketing litigation and the subsequent appellate briefing to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She also oversaw the implementation of the Vioxx third party payor settlement with Merck. Currently, Ms. Parker is involved in litigation regarding the drugs Neurontin and Actimmune, as well as artificial lumbar discs and smoke alarms.
Ms. Parker graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College and earned her J.D. at Boston College Law School. During law school, Ms. Parker was an oralist for the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team and a research assistant for projects relating to legal ethics and professional responsibility. Ms. Parker currently coaches the B.C. Law Jessup Moot court team.
Ms. Parker is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the District of Massachusetts, and is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.
