Jennifer Fountain Connolly - Of Counsel

Ms. Connolly is of counsel at HBSS and operates the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Her practice focuses on pharmaceutical pricing fraud cases, qui tam litigation and antitrust class actions. Ms. Connolly’s experience includes leading a firm’s antitrust practice. She has held leadership positions in numerous complex class actions, including In re Wellbutrin XL Antitrust Litig. (E.D. Pa.) as Interim Co-Lead Counsel for indirect purchasers; In re Live Concert Antitrust Litig. (C.D. Cal.) as Co-Lead Counsel and In re Actimmune Marketing Litig. (N.D. Cal.) as Member of Interim Executive Committee.

Prior to joining HBSS in May 2010, Ms. Connolly was a partner at Wexler Wallace LLP. She had a significant role in litigation against McKesson Corporation which resulted in a $350 million settlement that alleged the company engaged in a scheme that raised the prices of over 400 brand-name prescription drugs. Ms. Connolly was also a key member of the HBSS-led team that successfully tried the AWP litigation against four pharmaceutical company defendants, obtaining a verdict that was subsequently affirmed in all respect by the First Circuit Court of Appeals.

Prior to working at Wexler Wallace, Ms. Connolly worked at a boutique complex litigation firm in Denver, Colorado and worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Business Regulation Unit of the Colorado Attorney General’s office.

Ms. Connolly is a 1998 graduate of the University of Denver College of Law and graduated from the University of Chicago in 1993 with High Honors and Special Honors in English. She is admitted to the bar in Colorado and Illinois.
