Jeffrey Epstein accuser asks court for help in identifying his alleged recruiter

Jennifer Araoz, who accused the sex offender of ‘forcefully’ raping her, is hoping to find the woman who lured her to his home

Jennifer Araoz, who in a recent interview accused the billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein of raping her when she was just 15, asked a New York City court on Wednesday for help identifying his alleged recruiter.

Araoz’s interview aired in the wake of Epstein’s arrest on Saturday for alleged sex trafficking of minor girls, with prosecutors claiming that some of these victims were just 14 years old. She told NBC that Epstein “raped me, forcefully raped me … I was terrified and telling him to stop”. read more »

UCLA pays more than $3.5M in settlements over ex-gynecologist sex abuse accusations

The University of California, Los Angeles has paid more than $3.5 million in settlements over a former gynecologist.

One of those settlements, worth $2 million, is to a patient who said she was sexually assaulted by Dr. James Heaps.

Heaps was charged in June with sexual battery and exploitation in connection with his treatment of two patients, including that assault case. read more »

The names of dozens priests and deacons in Central Washington with substantial sexual abuse allegations were released on Wednesday.

Officials say the decision is based on the bishop's desire for transparency and to encourage victims of abuse to come forward.
