HBSS Announces Green Policy

Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro today announced a green policy that will help the firm take steps to reducing its negative impact on the environment. HBSS is adopting environmentally sustainable practices in each of its six offices that will help lessen its carbon footprint and ensure its business practices are environmentally friendly.

The green policy is meant to serve a company-wide concern about the polluting of the environment, the increase and magnitude of global warming and the resulting ecological, health, economic and social consequences of everyday choices.

Part of the green policy includes appointing two green directors that will research, implement and oversee the practice of the new firm policy. HBSS will focus on the following areas as part of the program; energy conservation, paper reduction, recycling, greenhouse gas reduction, education and support for environmental conservation.
