Study Shows Whistleblowing Yields Stiffer Punishments on Fraudsters
Research confirms what common sense tells us—whistleblowers (like other witnesses) are often indispensable to the investigation and prosecution of a fraud case. Whistleblowers serve a vital public function that research shows leads not only to cases that would not otherwise exist, but also give leverage to prosecutors to build stronger cases.
