Whistleblower programs work. For those in corporate America who prefer that fraud go unrecognized and unreported, this development is not positive. So it comes as little surprise that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce indulges in hyperbole to describe the efforts of some to use the False Claims Act and our securities and commodities regulations to ferret out fraudulent behavior.
