- Ani was a summer associate at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Clearly Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton
- She also externed at the Office of International Affairs at the U.S. Treasury Department
- Prior to law school, Ani worked as an Economic Analyst at the CIA for five years, focusing on the money laundering techniques and payment systems used by oligarchs and authoritarian leaders
- Additionally, she co-chaired her department's Diversity & Inclusion team at the CIA
Pro Bono
While at Harvard, Ani was an enthusiastic leader and participant in various legal clinics. She served as a president of the Tenancy Advocacy Project, an organization that represents recipients of Section 8 vouchers and public housing tenants. She was also a member of the Consumer Protection Clinic, which advocates for individuals sued in small claims court for allegedly owning credit card debt. Finally, she participated in the clinic Ghana: Making Rights Real, a joint effort by Harvard and the University of Ghana School of Law to strengthen the legal rights of agricultural workers in Ghana.
