Hagens Berman Launches Firm-wide Volunteer Program

Last week we launched a new volunteer program aimed at better serving our communities. The program, Project 2080, is a commitment by our staff and attorneys to collectively volunteer 2,080 hours of our time annually through a variety of local and national organizations.

The program kicks off on April 26, 2008 when all six Hagens Berman offices will participate in National Rebuilding Day, a program sponsored by Rebuilding Together. For an entire day we will go to work in neighborhoods across the country — in Chicago, Boston, Phoenix, Seattle, Los Angeles and San Francisco — to help rebuild homes for low-income homeowners.

The press release announcing the program is available on the firm Web site. We encourage visitors to check the Web site regularly for updates on projects, hours spent volunteering and more.
